Do you have the skills, commitment and enthusiasm to be our new Assistant County Commissioner for Scouts?

We are looking for someone to join our team of five ACCs as part of our Programme Team. You will be supported by the Deputy County Commissioner – Programme (Richard Haynes) as you lead the development of the Scout section over the next five years. The role will involve leading the following challenges: 

​

• Recruiting a team of County Scouters to support the Scout section 

• Promoting the Scout section training programme for Young People 

• Communicating in a timely and effective manner with all Scout leaders 

• Promoting the achievement of the Chief Scout Gold Awards 

• Developing youth shaped Scouting 

• Reviewing, managing and developing Scout events
